  • Activity data: Miles walked or hiked that you log manually or sync from Google Health Connect.
  • Payment information: Challenge registration payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
  • Device information: Basic device and usage data to improve app performance.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Strong Steps for Seniors challenge tracking service
  • To process challenge registrations and payments
  • To mail embroidered patches and certificates to challenge completers
  • To send you updates about your challenge progress and organizational news
  • To improve our app and services

Health Data

Our app can optionally connect to health platforms on your device to automatically import walking and hiking distance toward your challenge:

  • Apple Health (iOS): We request read access to your walking and hiking distance data only.
  • Google Health Connect (Android): We request read access to your distance and steps data only.

This health data is used solely to log miles toward your challenge. We do not share it with third parties, and it is never used for advertising or sold. You can revoke access at any time through your device's health app settings (Apple Health or Google Health Connect).

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only with the following trusted service providers who help us operate our platform:

  • Stripe — for secure payment processing
  • Supabase — our secure database and authentication provider
  • Resend — for transactional email delivery

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Data Retention

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
